From Kamiyacho Station (on the Hibya Subway Line) take the Iigura Exit. When you go out the ticket wicket, turn left toward signs for Tokyo Tower and follow Exit 1. At the street level, a Pronto Cafe will be on your left, and an Excelsior Cafe on your right. You will be on Sakurada Dori. Turn left. Go straight and you will soon pass a Yoshinoya and a German restaurant. There will be a pedestrian overpass up ahead on your right and a 7-11 on your left. Keep going straight. When you come to the next main intersection (at Gaien Higashi Dori), go to the left and you will see Tokyo Tower in front of you. St. Andrew's Church and St. Alban's Church are just up ahead on your left. (You will come to St. Andrew's first.) Go up the stairs into St. Alban's, and walk down the passageway to the left of the church. Go in the brown door at the end and upstairs to the Rector's office. It is about a ten minute walk from the station. See the maps and the virtual tour below, photos #1-11.
OR from Akabanebashi Station (on the Toei Oedo Line) go to the only exit. After you go out the ticket wicket, turn left toward Akabanebashi Crossing. You need to go up a long escalator, some stairs, and then another escalator. When you get to the street level, turn to your right and walk to the corner. You will see Tokyo Tower in front of you. Cross the street, and turn to the right and cross again. You will see an Eneos gas station on the corner. Stay to the left of that, and go up the bouldevard with the cars coming toward you. (This is Sakurada Dori.) In a while you will see a pedestrian overpass. Keep going straight. If you look to the right as you walk you will see various exquisite views of Tokyo Tower. You will begin going slightly uphill. At the next big intersection (at Gaien Higashi Dori), cross the street and turn right, and St. Andrew's Chuch and St. Alban's Church will be on your left. (You will come to St. Andrew's first.) Go up the stairs into St. Alban's, and walk down the passageway to the left of the church. Go in the brown door at the end and up the stairs. The meeting is held in the Rector's office. This is about a fifteen minute walk. See the maps and virtual tour below, photos #15-27, with photos of the church on #7-11.
