DIRECTIONS AND ACCESS INFORMATION

Our nearest train station is Odakyu Soboudai-Mai. Turn right when exiting the turnstiles, turn right at the bottom of the stairs, the street perpendicular to the tracks goes to Gate 4 of the post.

Our meeting room at Camp Zama is Bldg 533 Room 209, second floor, turn right, last door on the left at the end of the hall. Building 533 is on North Post of Camp Zama. The building sits on the hill behind building the Post Exchange.

A visitor to any US military installation must have valid (up to date) proof of their status. Normally, that means a passport as it shows nationality. There are a number of nations whose citizens are not permitted onto US military installations. Mostly Middle Eastern, African and Eastern European countries. A gaijin card is typically accepted but again, a valid, up to date passport is the sure-fire ID.

As our primary audience is the military community on base, we cannot require members to sign people onto base for meetings, that is their individual prerogative.  Many do sign in members they have met at other meetings, but total strangers is asking a lot, as the individual, not AA, is responsible for the visitor on base.

My advice is to have people make contact well before 1700 to try and make our 1900 meetings.  Our members finish work 1630-1800 and time is tight just trying to get themselves there.  Saturday is probably the best day.
